Fall Trends 2013

Fall is definitely here and we are entering a season surrounded by beautiful fall colors.  Pulling out my boots, cardigans, comfy sweaters, and blazers, brings me great excitement. Personally, I love all our 4 seasons, but after a hot summer here in Oklahoma, I must say I’ve really been looking forward for fall. I welcome fall with open arms. the crispy cooler weather, sunshine, changes of colors of the leaves, and time to enjoy a hot chocolate, chai latte or hot tea.

Fall Colors

Have you been wondering what to add to your fall wardrobe this season? Here, I share with you some of the fall color trends for this season. Hope you will be as inspired as I am.

colors

Multi Faceted Emerald continues to sparkle and mesmerize, bring luxury and elegance to the palette, while yellow-toned Linden Green brings lightness and brightness to the deeper shades of fall. Try pairing both with Mykonos Blue, a bold, meditative blue, for a classic and relaxed fall look. Acai bring richness to the pallet. Try to pair this elegant shade of purple with Emerald for a more confident look. And try samba red for an expressive and dramatic variation. Koi, a great decorative orange with dazzling and shimmering qualities, is a statement color that serves as a pick-me-up for your wardrobe. Vibrant deep fuchsia brings cheerful color to the wardrobe.  Be creative, and try to pair “Vivacious Pink” with anchoring Deep Lichen Green, a natural lush shade of green, for a dynamic juxtaposition that captures both ends of the seasonal spectrum.

As a base in your wardrobe, add Turbulence, a dark mercurial gray, and Carafe, a rich, glamorous brown, that provide more interesting and sophisticated alternatives to the black basic usually worn in colder months. Both those colors paired with more expressive colors, such as Samba, Koi and Fuchsia gives more of an expressive and gracefully look to your wardrobe. *Parts taken from pantone.com
